The Tidyjoint System for hospital bed cubicle track plays a vital role in reducing the possibility of patient self-harm in psychiatric and other high-risk ward areas. Tidyjoint® is designed to uncouple automatically in the event of an abnormal load, yet is easy to re-couple once the load is removed.
The heart of the system is a male/female coupling held together by a resilient elastomeric O-ring designed to support a static mass of 17Kg.
In typical bed cubicle layouts the static mass supported varies with the horizontal distance between supports but is normally in the range 14.5Kg to 35Kg.
All installations are weight tested on completion to ensure practical compliance.
