 The Door opening Problem

The typical door problem is probably the most common we find; at some point the door stop has been removed, either for ward modernisation, cleaning, decorating, or in some cases it has been removed because it was considered a trip hazard. The problem occurs when the door stop is removed, the door can open until it travels under the rail. This door will then support the rail in the case of an abnormal load being applied to it behind the door.  (see inset)
